Identification

Messerschmitt Bf 109 seems doubtful : looks like a cowling for a BMW VI engine like those mounted on Heinkel He 51 or Dornier Do 17 E/F or Heinkel He 70. I'll be back but it looks like a monoplane twin engine aircraft (?).
First picture put into Fokker Dr I category (this close-up displays the middle wing with a particular setback).

Messerschmitt Bf 109 changed for Dornier Do 17 E (or F) as the second screenshot displays the left engine hidding the nose. The whole dark paint scheme doesn't help to distinguish them but as the cowling of the other picture is open for maintenance ...
Two pictures to help identification : Do 17 E in dark paint and cowling open ; but both taken away from the aircraft, not just under the leading edge, near the engine. LVCDC 09:24, 29 October 2014 (MDT)
