Talk:Nankyoku monogatari

Based on a true story.
The aircraft actually used was probably this one : http://www.dhc-2.com/id983.htm with some differences in its paint scheme (cowling, underside of the wings). On the other side, the helicopter used in the movie is probably a Bell 204. But the very first ones were delivered only in 1961 and so in 1959, it was a plane or another type of helicopter.
