  • most of the action displaying airplanes occurs during night sequences.
  • Sorry about the poor quality of most of the pictures; I've tried to lightened some of them without great success (for example, the Lusinov displaying a red star -otherwise unvisible-).

Thanks for this nice and interesting contribution for the site LVCDC!
I hope you won't be upset, but I've made some modifications on the page according to guidelines requested for editing film page.
- Actors list= max 6.
- Aircraft pictures= max 5 (exceptionnally 6 when many interesting pics are available...though it's out of the rules).
- English titles= all of them (and only english as the site an English-speaking site).

Complementary identifications

The C-47 of Air France are in fact genuine post-war civilian DC-3 according to DGAC French Aircraft Register, delivered in 1947 to French State Haut Commissariat de France en Indochine (F-BCYD), and in 1948 to the SALS-Service de l'Aviation Légère et Sportive (F-BCYX). Both went in Air France fleet by 1950/51.
The Dassault Flamant is a nice find in this movie. A category page will be soon introduced in aircraft list as this type is already seen in another movie (Les suspects).
Air France never operated the Douglas DC-6. The aircraft seen is actually an ex USAF C-54 Skymaster registered F-BELK,operated by Air France from 1959 until 1958, written-off after a crash when landing at Salah Airport (Algeria) on a flight from Algiers to Tamanrasset.
