French title : L'Assassinat de Richard Nixon

Starring:

Thirty years after the facts, a dramatization of Samuel Byck's lastest weeks through Samuel "Sam" Bicke, a depressive divorced man who harbored the belief that the Nixon administration was the source of his misfortune. With the epitome point of his attempt to crash an airliner on the White House.

Bell UH-1B Iroquois "Huey"

Archive footage of TV News on February 17, 1974 when Robert K. Preston took off nightly at the controls of Bell UH-1B Iroquois "Huey" s/n 62–1920 from Tipton Field, Maryland, and landed it on the South Lawn of the White House.

Shortly before noon and despite five rifle holes, the helicopter lift off and flew back to base, was repaired and returned to service. It was later put on display at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Willow Grove.

Boeing 737 Original

Reg. N???? Boeing 737 Original (-2xx) of Sky King acting the historical plane involved in the Baltimore/Washington International Airport hijack (except that the filming location is at the Oakland airport).
Sky King was a short live airline between 1990 and 2015. Dramatization about the place, the aircraft type, the airline despite the airport is well named by reporter.

McDonnell Douglas DC-9

Archivage footage dated of February 22, 1974 showing the real airliner involved in these events a McDonnell Douglas DC-9 of Delta Air Lines (registration unknown; must have been Flight 523 but the shot through the door and some bullet in the wing led to cancel the flight).

Maybe an unfinished model of a Boeing 707 (lack of the four engines but their pylon are visible).
