Chiko is the daughter of the wealthy Mikamo family who has to live with her aunt and uncle after her parents passed away. Note: This is an animated film. The aircraft shown in it are therefore not actual aircraft, however, where a reasonable depiction of an actual aircraft has been created, it has been identified as best as possible.

Grumman UF-2 'Karigane'

Seen in episode 14 in JMSDF livery. It should be noted that while the series takes place in the mid-1950s, the UF-2 was delivered to the JMSDF in 1961.

Lockheed Constellation

A BOAC Connie is seen touching down on an unnamed London airport in Episode 22.

Douglas DC-4

Main heroine is seen deplaning at Haneda Airport. Windscreen panels resemble those of a Douglas DC-3/4/6, all of which saw service in JAL, which the airline name seen here is a parody of.
