Welcome to the IMPDb

Thanks for joining The Internet Movie Plane Database Sunbar!

If you feel you can contribute to the site and stick to the format we are currently using, I know that the viewing community, including myself and the other users would be very appreciative of anything you can do to help. There is a new users page which you can use to make the site easier to use as well.

Also, the new forum is a great place to publicly discuss things.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to email me at support@impdb.org.

Murphy's War

Great addition! If you ever need help, be sure to let Tim or I know. It looks like regarding this movie you simply forgot to copy and paste your uploaded picture file names into the image code. I have found that using the 'Show preview' button located next to the 'Save page' button has proven to be a big help for me. Also when you get time after building a page, be sure to post it on the Movie List page and any other applicable page page so everyone can enjoy your work. Thanks! Tleeg 08:59, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

Murphy's War and 633 Squadron

Thank you for the welcome and advice Tleeg. I hope to add more or complete the above movies soon (today possibly) but I am still finding my way around and finding how things work. Not too many problems but its all new to me and yes I have been using the preview button regularly. I did have problems with logging on yesterday with my password but for the first time this morning it seemed to work automatically. When I have progressed a bit further I will also add something to the new users/forum section. My aircraft knowledge is very limited but my interest is I guess WWII and 1950s-1960s 'cold war' planes.

Oh that will be great to have you on board! Those types of planes may be more difficult to identify for most. The great thing about this project though is that even if you don't know anything about planes, but have an interest in them, you can still contribute. Someone will always come along who will know the plane details. I am glad you figured out the logging in issue. I am also glad you brought up 633 Squadron. Noticing that a lot of people have been going to that page, I was about to purchase the DVD in order to get those screenshots. If you have a way to get them, I will hold off. Especially since I have a lot of films I am in the middle of at the moment. Tleeg 09:51, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

A Fish Called Wanda

Nice job on A Fish Called Wanda! Thanks for your input! Tleeg 18:50, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

User page

I hope you have the desire to create a user page one day. Partly so we can easily see all the awesome pages you built and also so others, like myself, can maybe understand how you know about these older aircraft. You add some valuable expertise in this area. Love The Flight of the Phoenix page you are working on! I had to do a double take because I was hoping to do the newer version. I didn't realize at first that it was the original which you built. Looks good! Tleeg 19:29, 3 July 2010 (UTC)
