Movie (1964)
English title: Backfire
échappement libre
Starring:
Jean-Paul Belmondo (David Ladislas)
Jean Seberg (Olga Celan)
Jean-Pierre Marielle (Van Houde)
David Ladislas must drive a Triumph loaded with gold to Libanon with Olga as... But he failed to his ruler and tried to make this for his own benefit.
Sud Aviation SE 210 Caravelle III

Later, as the Aviation Traders ATL-98 Carvair takes off, it's not the wing of a Douglas / ATL which is shown but this of a Sud Aviation SE 210 Caravelle... with the sound of the propliner!

Douglas DC-3C
Aviation Traders ATL-98 Carvair
Reg. EC-AVD Aviation Traders ATL-98 Carvair c/n 10351 s/n 12 of Aviaco.
Same aircraft in other movies at Frequently Seen Aircraft (Civil Fixed-Wing).

De Havilland DH114 Heron
(background) Three De Havilland DH114 Heron wearing Spanish registration (EC-...). Devoid of any other marking, they are mysterious as only three are reputed being under the Spanish registry ... for Aviaco. After 1958, Aviaco stopped flying its DH. 114s and decommissioned them. Assuming that we are looking at Aviaco's former fleet, there should only be two remaining following the crash of EC-ANZ on 15 November 1957. What is this third aircraft? The registers consulted are therefore incomplete...

Unidentified Aircraft
At far right, in the distance, under 'AIRWAYS' at Athens Ellinikon International Airport (ATH/LGAT) what seems to be a Beechcraft Model 18... but a Lockheed Model 10 Electra or a Lockheed Model 12 Electra Junior is not impossible too.
