The X-Files is an American science fiction television series about two FBI agents investigating the X-Files. These are cases about more or less unexplained phenomena.

Season 1

Against Scully's advice Mulder breaks into the military base encountering a pyramid-shaped UFO. This might be inspired by the Belgian UFO Wave in 1990.

There was an aborted launch of STS-55 mission on March 22 1993. It was the Space Shuttle Columbia which crashed on re-entry in 2003.
