Film Info
The Germans only use red Fokker DR1's made famous by Manfred Von Richthofen aka The Red Baron.
The English used Bristol F2B's SE5A's and Sopwith Camel's but these aircraft are only seen on the ground.
Handley Page bomber's are used in a bombing scene in the movie. - User:93MANIAC
There were no SPAD's in this movie. The green two place was a Nieuport 12. The aircraft you ID as a Nieuport 17 is the Bristol F2B mentioned above. The Nieuport 17's built for this movie were from Airdrome Aeroplanes: http://www.airdromeairplanes.com/photogallery/Flyboys/index.html Smutny
