Routine maintenance in a BOAC hangar at London Heathrow Airport. [See discussion tab (3)].
Registration G-ANBG, c/n 12908. Delivered new to B.O.A.C in May 1956, but since the first productions in 1955, time was lost in resolving inlet icing issues of the engines and delayed Britannia's introduction by two years. At the time, G-ANBG was nicknamed No Bloody Good! Finally the airplane was re-registered G-APLL in March 1958. Sold to BKS Air Transport in November 1965. Broken up at Newcastle in September 1969.

Registration G-ANBI, c/n 129010. Delivered new to B.O.A.C in March 1956. Entered service in 1957. Sold to Britannia Airways in February 1966. Broken up at London Luton (EGGW/LTN) in October 1969.
