Ultimate variant of the family, this Blériot-SPAD S.92-4 is seen in Le journal tombe à cinq heures.

The Blériot-SPAD S.92 was a French single-seater biplane training aircraft mixing wood and metal construction. First flight on 21 August 1928. 15 built. Powered by a Hispano-Suiza 8 cylinder V engine developing 180 hp.
A development fitted with a 9 cylinder Salmson radial developing 230 hp made its first flight on 5 March 1930. Top speed was increased by 40 km/h (+ 25 mph). 15 built of which only 7 were brand new airframes.
A further upgrade by retrofiting led to the S.92-4 by adding a NACA engine cowling.
Eventually, F-AJBL was one S.92-2 modified into the S.922 with a butterfly tail. Maiden flight : 12 October 1935.
