Ma pomme movie poster.

Movie (1950)
English title : Just Me

Starring:
Maurice Chevalier (Maurice Vallier alias « Ma pomme », the tramp)
Sophie Desmarets (Caroline Peuchat)
Jean Wall (M. Peuchat, the banker)
Jane Marken (Miss Deply)

One day, a tramp nicknamed “My Apple” inherits a considerable fortune. Unconvinced of the benefits of money, the tramp is reluctant to take all these millions. But the other heirs can only receive their share if “My Apple” also accepts his share of the inheritance. The tramp thus becomes the object of all kinds of pressure.

Douglas DC-3

Several Douglas DC-3s close to the terminal of Aéroport de Paris-Orly (ORY/LFPO).

Lockheed L-749 Constellation

Lockheed L-749 Constellation of TWA-Trans World Airlines.

... but still at Aéroport de Paris-Orly (ORY/LFPO).

Douglas C-54E-1-DO

(continuity error) Douglas C-54 Skymaster of TWA-Trans World Airlines.
On the screen, the very first frame, despite the poor contrast and imperfect sharpness, we can guess that the aircraft bears a christening name, as well as a number on the nose gear door. Among the 14 DC-4/C-54s used by TWA, the closest design is ‘The Sphynx’ with code 602 on the leg door. If true, we see former s/n 44-9038 sold to TWA in 1946. Out of the fleet in 1961. Ended under the Spanish roundel as EC-BXK then T.4-9 / 352-09.
