Movie (2025)
Korean title: 굿뉴스

Starring:
Sul Kyung-gu (Nobody / Choi Go-myung)
Hong Kyung (Seo Go-myung)
Ryoo Seung-bum (Park Sang-hyeon)
Takayuki Yamada (Shinichi Ishida)

In the 1970s, a covert team is determined to land a hijacked plane by any means necessary. Inspired by the hijacking of Japan Air Lines Flight 351.

Note: This film utilises a significant quantity of Computer Generated Images (CGI). Aircraft portrayed in this film may not be entirely accurate and have been identified as closely as possible to real aircraft.

Boeing 727-89

This CGI model is heavily inspired by the real aircraft involved in the Flight 351 hijacking. Here, we see a fictional "Japanese Ride" airline livery that's close to the contemporary Japan Air Lines livery. The aircraft itself is named Haru and marked with registration JA8351. The real aircraft was named Yodo and registered JA8315. Also note that an unrelated 727-281 operated by All Nippon Airways would later carry registration JA8351 in reality.

Boeing 747

747 in the background wearing Thai International titles. In reality, Thai International wouldn't receive its first 747 until 1979. Further, the livery used here most closely matched the retro livery seen on HS-TGP from 2010 to 2013.

North American F-86D-30-NA Sabre

Blocks the 727 to temporarily prevent its departure from Fukuoka. Marked with serial 84-8114, which belonged to a real F-86D-30-NA Sabre of the JASDF with c/n 173-224.

Unidentified Aircraft

Photos shown over narration stating that four US fighter jets have been lost over North Korea.
Seems to be CGI : top left and bottom right display a side-by-side cockpit close to the [[:Category: General Dynamics F-111 Aardvark]|General Dynamics F-111 Aardvark]] but the fuselage doesn't match. Moreover, the low visibility roundel was not used before the 1980s.

Boeing 727

727 wearing Cathay Pacific livery. In reality, this airline never operated the 727.

Airbus A380

In the background with a Lufthansa livery. Fully anachronistic here, as the project wasn't even announced until 1990.

McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II

Two Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) Phantoms intercept the 727.

Boeing 747

Boeing 747 of Northwest Airlines.

NAMC YS-11-125

Registration HL5208, c/n 2043 built in 1967 and operated by Korean Air Lines. This aircraft was involved in a 1969 hijacking.
