Nearly 400 hundred of this Italian two-seat cabin monoplane trainer designed and built by the Società Industrie Meccaniche Aeronautiche Navali (SAIMAN) were built. Some were used by the Luftwaffe but probably some weeks after this summer action, when Italia surrended in September.
