Film noir about a stolen map revealing secret uranium deposits for which a hired pilot is warned at the last minute before taking off by a FBI agent. Various Aircraft

What a pitty the copy was not of better quality !

Lockheed L-12A Electra Junior

Reg. NC19933 Lockeed 12 c/n 1258 was registered N19933 until its cancellation in 1970. During its tour of duty into the U.S. Army, she received the serial 38-541 as a C-40A.
Same aircraft in other movies at Frequently Seen Aircraft (Civil Fixed-Wing).

Wing registration is the same all along the movie.

The screenplay says the flight is at level 180.

Irene (former Carrington's wife) has stollen the aircraft but soon crashed. "That was not an accident. It was a pure case of sobatage."

The magic of cinema ! Carrington got a new plane... which appears to be exactly the same.
