A Douglas F4D Skyray from Carrier Air Group 14 (CVG-14) ready to be launched in front of a Douglas A-3 Skywarrior.
Story of this Douglas F4D-1 Skyray BuNo 134875: to VF-141 as NK-205 in 1959. To PMTC (Pacific Missile Test Center) as 875 in 1962. Written off at NAS Point Mugu, CA (California), USA on 30 November 1962. Was preserved in a city park in Oxnard, CA for a while, but eventually salvaged at Naval Air Weapons Station, China Lake, CA.

OSS 117 is exiting the Aéroclub d'Ajaccio building. What's strange is the uncluttered environment (in keeping with the Campo dell'Oro airfield until 1961), whereas the 1963 filming should have shown us the modern airport buildings... seen later when the Caravelle arrived.

Registration F-BHRP, s/n 45 christened Languedoc by Air France from the 12 August 1960. Loaned to Sabena between 01 April 1963 and 31 March 1964. Eventually broken up in November 1979 (or 1980?).
