“Schley Ride To Scandinavia” was part of a series of travelogues made by filmmaker Norman E. Schley’s titled “Picturelogues”. The script is written by John Bakke, and typically the episodes were narrated by Normal E. Schley himself, although this version is silent.Proposed in 4 parts:
Part.1: This film depicts a journey starting in Scotland through Glasgow and Edinburgh, and ending in Bergen, Norway. It includes footage of the cities’ attractions and scenic landscape views of Norway.
Part.2: This film depicts a journey from Bergen to Oslo in Norway, then Stockholm and Gothenburg in Sweden. It includes footage of the cities’ attractions and scenic landscape views of Norway and Sweden.
Part.3: This film depicts a journey through Helsinki, Finland and Copenhagen, Denmark. It includes footage of the cities’ attractions and entertainment and local crafts and markets.
Part.4: This film depicts a journey Denmark from Copenhagen, Nyborg, Odense, and to Vejle. It includes footage of the cities’ attractions, entertainment, and local crafts and markets.
