Sold in February 1955 to Eagle Airways and loan on two periods for 'trooping flights' (as XF632 and XG349). On 9 August 1961 at Holta in Strand, Norway, during a charter flight, the airliner crashed 18 nautical miles (33 km; 21 mi) north-east of the airport on an instrument landing. None of the 36 passengers (a school class of boys and their two teachers) nor the three crew members survived.
