The Roe Triplane is a category which covers the very first design made by Alliott Verdon Roe and sometimes referred to (by error) as the Avro Triplane. These machines (Roe I , Roe II , Roe III and Roe IV Triplanes) all designed before the Great War were built in a very limited number.
