Bought by BAe in May 1978, re-registered G-BAPF and leased back to BMA-British Midland Airways from May 1986 to August 1987. Sold to Baltic Airlines in March 1988. Leased to Gambia Air Shuttle from July 1988 to March 1989. Leased to HotAir from April 1989 to April 1990, named Marilyn Monroe. Sold to Sean T Hully Sale Ltd in April 1990, delivered in February 1992 TO Moreton-in-the-Marsh for fire training.

Returned to Lufthansa as D-ALUB in January 1964. Withdrawn from use and stored in November 1965. Sold to Nordflug GmbH in January 1966 for restaurant in Harttenholm near Hamburg Germany. Destroyed by fire in July 1975.
