Etrich Taube on the front page of the New York Times (1917).

The Etrich Taube was a german monoplane designed in 1909 and built in number from 1910. Its high stability made it suitable for observation duties but too for bombing and training. Its low speed and poor handling withdrawn it from the front line service two quarter after the breakout of the World War One. It was built by several companies which often linked their name to the model (i.e. Aviatik Taube or Gotha Taube or Rumpler-Taube or ...).

The number of Taube built (until 1918) exceeded two hundreds.

This page lists all films that feature a variation of the Etrich Taube.
