On 24 August 2001, Robert Piché became world-famous by saving the lives of 306 people. Due to fuel starvation and after 20 minutes of gliding over the ocean, he landed the airplane in the Azores. However, his troubled past is brought to light and the man who became a hero overnight must now defeat his worst enemy: his addiction to alcohol.
