Identifications

B-17 are from two types, C and E recognizable by the tail fin difference (thin on the A,B,C,D models).
DC-3 is of PAA-Pan American Airway System, not American Airlines.

Hawker Hurricane replaced by Bell P-39 as there is no air intake under the fuselage but we guess one just behind the canopy of the second screenshot.
Landing SBD Dauntless is in fact a Vought SB2U Vindicator (note the air intake on the engine cowling).

Lockheed T-33 of DVD 3 (chase plane of B-29/X-1 trials) has a small canopy like the single seat P-80. Isn't it ? LVCDC 04:37, 17 July 2014 (MDT)
