Un enlèvement en hydroaéroplane is a short movie in which Max is falling in love of a young woman. But her legal guardian doesn't share Max whishes, so our hero takes her in his hydroaeroplane (seaplane). [please read the discussin tab about the exact title of this movie].

(left to right) Max Linder "is piloting" face to face his bride. She's sitting on Jules Védrine's knees (whom we just guess the nose and cap), the actually famous French pilot who tries to hide himself the best he can.

Back to the slipway. The commercial movie is broadcasted with a different end : engine breaks down and the plane crashes. By luck, the heroes fail onto a church and so they could married despite legal guardian's opposition.
