TV-Series (1998-2001)
Starring:
Christoph M. Ohrt (Karl 'Charly' von Schumann)
Matthias Matz (Stephan Rubelli)
Peter Simonischek (Hagen Dahlberg)
Doreen Jacobi (Jenny Harland )
What happens when you mix Alarm für Cobra 11 with Viper? This tv series happens. A high-tech helicopter with rockets, stealth-mode and other cool stuff is used by a special task force of Berlin police to fight against criminals.
Note: This TV series uses CGI several times. Aircraft portrayed in this production may not be entirely accurate or represent an actual aircraft, however, where a reasonable depiction of an actual aircraft has been created, it has been identified as best as possible and is noted as CGI.
Eurocopter EC135
Registration D-HECY c/n 0002
This is the second prototype of the EC135 on loan from Eurocopter Germany (today Airbus Helicopters). It was often flown by company pilots. In most scenes its just CGI especially when it flies low through Berlin city. The helicopter base was Tempelhof Airport (now closed). Its nicknamed "AK1" in HeliCops.
It was fitted with extras. Silent mode:
Rockets - here you see only one rocket because the rest was already fired
EMP cannon
Magnet

Episode 1.02 Operation Brainstorm
Ex-South African Soldier Markus bought two MiG-27 from soviet army. He tries to convince the AK1 to land the helicopter immediately or his pilots will shoot them down. However evasive maneuvers and a shot with the EMP-Gun clears off the Danger.
Boeing CH-47 Chinook

Ilyushin Il-62
Episode 1.07 Todesflug IL 888
Flight IL 888 is hijacked while on ground in Berlin. The plane lifts off with the hijacking been unnoticed. After the criminals demand that their friend Karl Mendl is released from prison, they are circling over Berlin. When the police releases their criminal friend, the hijackers jump out of the plane and parachute to the ground. Karl Schumann manages to take over the flight controls and land the plane safely on a plain ground.
They used the fictional company name Holiday Airlines and in every exterior shot the plane is CGI except for the landing scene (see entry below). The paint scheme is similar to what Interflug had in use.
Registration DDR-SEG, c/n 31403.
For interior shots of Flight IL 888 a real plane was used. It is DDR-SEG parked at Airfield Stölln/Rhinow. DDR-SEG is the legendary plane that landed on a 900 meter grass runway on 23 October 1989: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EP2fgosJ0A
