Lockheed Hudson I
Based on the civil Lockheed Model 14 Super Electra, the Hudson could carry 1,400 lb (640 kg) of bombs (usually four with a maximum of ten) ... in a bomb bay under the cabin floor. Not in a vertical stowage in the cabin as seen here, especially on one side, which would throw the aircraft off balance enormously ! Otherwise, the cabin and cockpit, the (open) door between them are right.
Another strange feature is the parachute evacuation through a (small) hatch on the right of the fuselage ... while the crew jumped through the door (on the left)! The crew is only three as the usual team was of five men. Last but not the least, the bomber is on the way back to its base, bombs dropped but they are still visible ! (bottome left corner).
The Hudson was a twin-tail aircraft ...
... but the jump occured from a single-tail aircraft (maybe a Douglas C-47 ?).
(Made for Movie) Messerschmitt Bf 109 E
This Messerschmitt Bf 109 close to the E (Emil) variant is a less-than-faithful reproduction, something a little surprising by the great number of Emil shot down over England and well publicised by British propaganda and news during summer of 1940.
(Made for Movie) Supermarine Spitfire
Another reproduction needed to film the particular actions required of this Supermarine Spitfire by the scenario. Stock footage cannot capture them.
Hawker Hurricane Mk.I
Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIb of No. 56 'Punjab' Squadron.
Same aircraft in other movies at Frequently Seen Aircraft (Military Fixed-Wing).
