Reg. I-VRST SIAI-Marchetti S.205 20/R c/n 4-138 built in 1968.
In 2001, this aircraft took part of the Rome-Tokyo raid as testified by the earth map and the Japanese / Italian text ("raid aero roma-tokyo 2001"). At that time, the map was on the engine cowling due to sponsor logo behind the window. The bottom was in a dark grey paint (seems always to be the case, as lighting conditions have undoubtedly altered the perception of hue in the scenes below.).
Some years later (2014? - 2015), the map move back and a Ansaldo SVA-9's profile replaced it to celebrate the first Roma-Tokyo flight done with Ansaldo airframe 13157 (between 14 February and 31 May 1920).
