The Lunar Landing Research Vehicle and Lunar Landing Training Vehicle were an American VTOL aircraft specially designed to simulate landing on the moon by cancelling 5/6 of the vehicle's weight. Bell Aerosystems built two airframes for research purpose and three others for training. Every Lunar Module pilot trained in the LLTV and flew to a landing on the Moon successfully.
