The Etrich Taube was a German monoplane designed in 1909 and built from 1910. Its high stability made it suitable for observation duties but also for bombing and training. Its low speed and poor handling meant it was withdrawn from front line service shortly after the breakout of World War One. It was built by several companies which often linked their name to the model (i.e. Aviatik Taube or Gotha Taube or Rumpler-Taube).
The number of Taube built (until 1918) exceeded two hundred.
This page lists all films that feature a variation of the Etrich Taube.
