Westland WS-51 Series 2 Widgeon
Registration G-ANLW, c/n WA/H/133 built in 1954. Painted as a British Army helicopter here, anachronistic for this World War II film. Republic P-47D Thunderbolt & Douglas C-47 Skytrain
B-17 decoy closest to the camera. Behind, the checkered nose of P-47D registration N47DE, 399-55744.
Further back, several C-47 Skytrains. The two on the left are half painted in military drab, and half retaining their former white Spanish Air Force livery. A number of these ex-Spanish Air Force birds apparently passed through Blackbushe Airport on their way to the US following their retirement from military service.

De Havilland DH.98 Mosquito
A Vickers Wellington is also visible in the background of this first stock footage shot.
