The cockpit is not from a C-46 but from a Douglas C-47 ! (continuity error)

Some munites later it's really a Douglas C-47 which landed on the grass strip.

Reg. PP-VBH Douglas C-47B-45-DK c/n 34301 built in 1945 s/n 45-1033. Sold in 1946 on the civil market and registered NC57612. In 1948 registered and operated by VARIG-Viaçao Aérea Rio Grandense (as seen here).
