Interdit aux chiens et aux Italiens

Welcome to IMPDb!
Dedicated to identifying aircraft throughout Movies, Television, and Video Games!

Dear Friends:

A few short years ago we created this message box on our home page, asking for your help to keep this site up and running. In that time, many of you have generously donated to our PayPal account and we are forever grateful. With your help, we've been able to make the necessary upgrades to our server to keep the site running more smoothly than ever!

The meager ad revenue generated by this site isn't sufficient to cover the annual cost of running the server, and we who manage it have never made money from it.

In an effort to continue serving the needs of aviation enthusiasts around the world, we continue to ask for donations to keep this site up and running. If you're still enjoying this website and would like to help us continue being the BEST site on the Internet for your aviation screenshot needs, please consider donating.

Thank you,
Tobin & Rush

Interdit aux chiens et aux Italiens movie poster.

Movie (2019)
Spanish title (provisional) : Prohibit a gossos i italians
English title : No Dogs or Italians Allowed

Starring (French voices) :
Ariane Ascaride (Cesaria)
Stefano Paganini (Luigi)
Diego Giuliani (Antonio et Alcide)
Christophe Gatto (Giuseppe et Severino)

In a small village in Piedmont, the land feeds the farmers, but the people still lack food. Therefore, every year before winter sets in, half of the inhabitants go to different areas in France and Switzerland to work, either as seasonal workers or on construction sites. Luigi and his brothers also do this, having subsisted at home on chestnut polenta with milk. But shortly after WW1, Luigi Ughetto does not return and starts a new life in France, changing forever the destiny of his beloved family.

Note: This is an animated film. The aircraft shown in it are therefore not actual aircraft, however, where a reasonable depiction of an actual aircraft has been created, it has been identified as best as possible.

Macchi C.202

Macchi C.202 wearing both the roundel of the Aeronautica Cobelligerante Italiana (Italian Co-Belligerent Air Force) and the fuselage's flag of the Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana (used from October 1943 to May 1945 by the National Republican Air Force).
The model kits are used in several action (including crashes despite the lack of dogfight) by evoking the fighting of June 1940 with France (whereas the Folgore only entered into service in 1942!).
