From October 1975 was N711LF and later N8209U until August 1986.

Cushioncraft CC5

Between 1960 and 1972 Cushioncraft (a company which eventually was merged into British Hovercraft Corporation) designed six models of which five were produced. Including this CC5, a short-lived model which capsized and was written off in October 1966, only a few weeks after the filming (which started in July 1966). .

Westland WS-55 Whirlwind Series 1

Reg. G-ANFH Westland WS-55 Whirlwind Series 1 c/n WA/15 built in 1953 (or 1954 ?).
Same helicopter in other movies at Frequently Seen Aircraft (Rotary-Wing). Here with BEA-British European Airways livery.
When its certificate of airworthiness expired in 1971 was stored at Bristow Helicopters' North Denes base. Aacquired for The Helicopter Museum and was moved to Weston-super-Mare in 1978, where it remains in outside storage. Still in outside storage at The Helicopter Museum in 2017, dismantled.
