Pan Am Flight 1736 was taxiing down the runway when a KLM 747 that was about to take off crashed into the plane tearing of parts of the roof. Reg. PH-BUF c/n 20400/157 After a KLM 747 is starting its takeoff in dense fog it crashes into a Pan Am 747 still taxiing on the same runway. It was fully loaded with kerosin because it was refueled at the airport. The plane might have cleared the Pan Am plane if it weren't so heavy. This episode focuses on American Airlines Flight 77 which was deliberately flown into the Pentagon complex. But they dont investigate the flight itself. Instead they try to find an answer why a plane flying 560 miles per hour did not so much damage.
