The Fall of France is a powerful portrait of a turning point in military history.

Junkers Ju 86 showing the Junkers doppelflügel wing control surfaces. With the short wingspan and the shape of diesel engines (Junkers Jumo 205 instead the usual radials seen on most airframes) and the ventral gondola, it's a Ju 86D-1 (other diesel variants are the C-1 airliner or the P and R high-altitude bomber and photo reconnaissance version -these last two with a 50% increase in wingspan-).
