"Wichita Fokker" (modified Travel Air 2000)

S4E2 Snoopy Smart vs The Red Baron
A Wichita Fokker painted in the colors of Ernst Udet's Fokker D.VII.
First seen through the Boeing 707 window, chasing the airliner ! (maximum speed of the biplane : 160 km/h vs 237 km/h for the Boeing 707 minimum speed !).

Serial 626/18 does not match with Udet's aircraft (should be 4253).
Note the panel lines ... painted to reflect those of the Fokker. And the exhaust pipe under the fuselage betray the Travel Air's American-origin engine in place of a Fokker Mercedes.

Although in German, these technical specifications are pure fiction.

S4E3 Closely Watched Planes
Action is onboard a "four jet liner". Of course, the cabin is just a set, not a real one.

Cockpit

No ! You are not inside the control tower !
This crew of two is (trying to) piloting a four jet airliner of the 1960s (without the mandatory flight engineer for such a quadrijet !?). A set deliberately designed to accommodate several gags.
For example, the crew is dressed as military personnel, while the civilian pilots usually wear white shirts and blue suits.
