Number One In Europe is a color, promotional film created for British European Airways (BEA) in about 1971, its 25th birthday [See discussion tab (1)]. BEA was a British airline which existed from 1946-1974. Produced by Harold Weaver. Narrated by Patrick Allen, John Keith Patrick Allen, a British film, television and voice actor. The film tells the story of the British European Airways.

Sold to Moroccan Government, VIP aircraft for the King of Morocco, registered CN-MAK. Bought by Decca Navigator in November 1963, re-registered G-ALZP. Sold to South Seas Airways in November 1971, registered ZK-DFC. Wfu in 1973. Broken up in 1974 at West Malling UK.

Unidentified registration and airline Douglas C-47/DC-3 on the ground.
Registration G-AJOV, c/n 5135. Delivered new to BEA in 1947, named Sir Lamorak. Sold to private owner Ronald Myhill in August 1954. Sold to Overseas Aviation Ltd in March 1955. Bought by Decca Navigator in November 1963, re-registered G-ALZP. Sold to South Seas Airways in November 1971, registered ZK-DFC. Wfu in 1973. Exported to Canada as CF-JTQ in May 1957, then to the US as N4917E.
