Number One In Europe is a color, promotional film created for British European Airways (BEA) in about 1971, its 25th birthday [See discussion tab (1)]. BEA was a British airline which existed from 1946-1974. Produced by Harold Weaver. Narrated by Patrick Allen, John Keith Patrick Allen, a British film, television and voice actor. The film tells the story of the British European Airways.

Registration G-AWYZ, c/n 2301. Delivered new to BEA in November 1969. Transferred to British Airways after merge in April 1974. Wfu at London Heathrow (LHR) in October 1983. Broken-up in June 1984.

Registration G-ALZP, c/n 5213. Delivered new to BEA in February 1952. Sold to Royal Jordanian Air Force in September 1960, registered 109. Sold to Moroccan Government, VIP aircraft for the King of Morocco, registered CN-MAK. Bought by Decca Navigator in November 1963, re-registered G-ALZP. Sold to South Seas Airways in November 1971, registered ZK-DFC. Wfu in 1973. Broken up in 1974 at West Malling UK.

Registration G-ASGC, c/n 853. Delivered new to B.O.A.C in 1965. Operated by BOAC-Cunard. Transferred to British Airways after merge in April 1974. Wfu in April 1980.
Preserved at the Imperial War Museum Duxford.
