The war years. Tashkent. In the deep rear, there is training for the Red Army, but young cadets of the flight school find time to meet with girls, and for fights with tank crews. One day cadet Boris Tiraspolsky even goes on a date to his girlfriend Tamara on a training plane. While the lovers make love in the collective farm garden, the plane finds the outfit of the NKVD. For these "merits" he and two more cadets are sentenced by the verdict of the military court to a penal company.
