Once the filming was completed, this replica (built by Fairey Marine) was bought by the Thorpe Park Resort and display on the lake. Damaged by the 1987 storm, it was given to the close Brooklands museum (Surrey, England too) which restored it (with or without wings, depending on the year) and put it on display in a hangar with G-EBED markings related to a round-the-world record attempt by the Australian Smith brothers.
