The Plywood Pelican was a large aircraft build by C. Montgomery Burns. It was completely build out of plywood. Homer, Grampa and Burns uses the plane to smuggle drugs from Canada into the US. The aircraft comes closes to the Hughes H-4 "Hercules".

Seen at the Springfield Air & Space Museum. The aircraft to the left appears to represent a Vought F4U Corsair with the aircraft to the right representing a North American P – 51 "Mustang". The aircraft above could be the Wright Flyer I.
