On May 1, 2023, a Cessna 206 light aircraft (registration HK-2803) with seven people on board crashed in the jungle in the Caquetá Department of Colombia. Five passengers survived: the 33 years-old mother and her four children (aged from one year old to 13 y.o.). But the mother died four days later, a week before the search and rescue team reached the wreckage. But where are the four children? Rescuers don't give up…

Seen here in May 2023. On 12 August 2024, the aircraft lost altitude and collided with mountainous terrain one minute after takeoff. The four occupants sustained serious injuries and the aircraft was written off.
