The Hughes 269 is a family of light utility helicopters produced between 1961 and 1983. It was developed initially as a light trainer helicopter for the U.S. Army known as the TH-55 Osage. The designation 'Model 300' was also used for later variants and this continued when Schweizer took over development and production, as the Schweizer 300C.
