The AS350 is a single-engined version marketed as the A-Star in the U.S. The AS355 is a twin-engined version, the Ecureuil 2, or TwinStar in the U.S. Both variants have been modified to serve in various different roles by civilian and government operators worldwide.
By 1 January 2016, the AS350 became the H125 following the rebranding of Eurocopter into Airbus Helicopters on 2 January 2014.
